What is Triphala Churnam
Today I’m going to explain about Triphala Churnam. A very important ayurvedic medicine for health in all ages. Triphala Churnam consists of 6 tastes (shadruchulu).
Triphala Churnam is the medicine which will cure all types of diseases. Mainly Triphala improves digestive system, for better Liver functioning, balancing of cholesterol in body, rectifies cardiac problems and improves good sight, strengthening the teeth and controls hair fall.
Preparation of Triphala Churnam
Ingredients:
Karakkaya (Haritaki or Harra) – 1 part
Tanikaya (Behada or Bibhitaki) – 1 part
Usirikaya (Amla or Amalaki) – 4 parts
First you need to extract the dry versions of karakkaya, Tanikaya and Usirikaya then get the peel of karakkaya and tanikaya. Then remove seeds of all three fruits. Now make powder of the peel of karakkaya, tanikaya and the seedless usirikaya separately. Now based on the above ratio mix the individual powders of fruits in 1:1:4 ratio. Now you are ready with the Triphala Churnam. Store it in a dry glass bottle so that the powder will never get damaged.
How to Use Triphala Churnam
Daily you need to have 1 tea spoon of Triphala Churnam mixed with water or buttermilk or honey. Asthma patients have to had Triphala with honey. If you’ve high body heat, then go with buttermilk, if you are suffering with body pains, then have Triphala with warm water. This can be used by all ages of people.
How Many Times in A Day??
Daily two times. Morning (Before Breakfast) and evening (After Dinner).

Diabetic patients aught to use it to control your sugar levels.
